Competitive swimming is a major part of Brentwood SC and with hard work and dedication we have had great success with swimmer winning medals at County and Regional level, and we are very proud that one of our swimmers, Roberto Pavoni, competed in the 2012 Olympic Games.
Competitive swimming is coached by ASA qualified coaches, there is a squad system in place and swimmers are placed on ability.
There are Junior, Intermediate and Senior squads as well as a Stroke Academy for younger swimmers new to the sport and a Masters squad for over 18’s. It takes years of training and many hours in the pool to become an Olympic swimmer.
Our training regime will help you develop your stamina, aerobic capacity and develop your swimming techniques which you can test at regular club galas which we visit as well as competing in the County, Regionally and National level competitions.

We are registered with the ASA as a Disability Hub Club, meaning that we work with the ASA to provide an assessment opportunity for any swimmer with a disability so that they can be directed to appropriate swimming provision best suited to the individual.”
